I’m working on automating a few things around the house—planning to add a hidden cabinet lift and maybe something for the windows too. I’ve never used linear actuators before, so I’m a bit confused about which type to start with. There are so many models with different speeds, forces, and strokes. I need something compact, quiet, and not too hard to control. Has anyone here used actuators in a similar setup?
