HOW CAN I BE SAVED?

I remember before I was saved, all the doubt that would enter my mind. Hearing natural catastrophes happening in the world, then going to church hearing about what would be happening in the end times. Feeling gut sickening was an understatement. If God came in that moment, I knew I wouldn't of gone with Him at the time in my life. I got saved at the age of 12. After getting saved I went through a lot of hard times times, poor choices, and living through tough experiences. Looking back I see that God allowed it, and was using it for good to mold me into the man I am today.

Being a Christian is not easy, if anything it's a much harder life to live. Being care free with no rules or regulations is much easier, but that's not reality. You see, we are all born with "G" hole inside of our heart. Nothing in this world fits that missing "peace" except for God. Having a lot of money, buying that new expensive car, house, vacation, new tools and luxuries only lasts a little bit. Once that high is over you default right back to experiencing the missing "peace/piece" inside your heart. Statistics show that humans on average live anywhere from 75-80 years, some people that live longer are the exception. Think of it this way, you only have 120ish years max to live here on Earth. I think we can agree that every one dies. What will you be doing when that time comes? What will happen after that time? Where will you be? At the time of this article I am 36 years old, according to statistics I'm 50% through my life already! The older you get, the more you will realize that time truly does fly, and sadly it waits for no one. You don't have the time you think you have. This isn't a fear tactic, almost everyone knows someone that their life was cut short from a tragedy.

 

I knew 2 friends, both died at the age of 23. One was a motor cycle accident, (not his fault), Semi pulled out in front of him. I saw him laying there dead. The other friend died of stage 4 cancer of the lymph nodes, I watched him die. I remember before we found out about the cancer I spoke with him about his salvation, making sure he knew where he'd be spending eternity. Thank the Lord he was saved! When I say you don't have the time you think you do, I mean it!

When your life is over, and you stand before God, you must have the correct answer when God asks you, "Why Should I Let You Into My Heaven?" You see the correct action that was done while you were still alive on Earth needed to happen in order for you to give God the correct answer for your redemption. You can only accept God's gift here on Earth while your heart is still beating. Once you take your last breath there is no 2nd opportunity. Everyone is one heartbeat away from eternity.

Why Do I Need To Be Saved?
 

Can't I just enter heaven the way I am? The answer is no, and the reason why is because God is holy and perfect. Nothing can come into his presence that is sinful and corrupt. There has to be a cleansing. That cleansing just so happens to be God's Son Jesus Christ which is God in the flesh. God took form of a man, and came down to earth to die on the cross and shed his own blood as an atonement for everyone sins. Anyone who calls out to Jesus Christ, and confesses their sins, and asks Jesus Christ to be Lord of their life has now obtained the blood of Jesus Christ, and now is cleansed of all of their unrighteousness forever. See God is perfect, and he only excepts perfection in his presence. He knew that man could not be perfect, but he loved man so much that he sacrificed his only Son to redeem man. Jesus Christ is perfection, and when Jesus Christ went to the cross and shed his perfect sinless blood, God said, my Son is perfection, and I will accept my Son's blood as payment for man sins if they will repent of their sins and accept my Son as their Savior.

Asking to be saved is not just words, it's a heart condition. Think of it this way, if I tell someone I'm sorry, but I really don't mean it, and I only said it because I want to shut them up, or just to follow a procedure, it means nothing, and has no value. But if I say I'm sorry, and I heart fully mean it, I'm not perfect, and I may mess up again, but I've placed in my mind that I want to do right, that's the difference! When you call out to the Lord, It has to be from your heart. Either you mean what you say, or you do not. Words without meaning mean nothing. God looks at the heart!

Below is the Romans road to salvation. These are the simple steps to be saved forever! Once saved always saved! Salvation is a gift, not of works. Nothing you physically can do will be good enough, but what Jesus Christ did on the cross is good enough! All you have to do is accept his free gift!

Romans 3:23 -- For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:10 -- As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one.

Romans 6:23 -- For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 -- But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9-10 --That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Pray This Prayer Right Now To Accept Jesus Christ As Your Lord And Savior And BE FREE TODAY!

Dear heavenly father, I know that I am a sinner. I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I want to turn away from my sinful life. Please forgive me of my sins. I know there's nothing I can do to get into heaven, but I believe that you sent your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross in my place for my sins. I believe that He died on the cross, was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day. I'm asking the Lord Jesus Christ to come into my life and rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. I pray these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.

Once Saved ALWAYS SAVED!

 

The blood of Jesus Christ is Perfection. Nothing can make it unperfect, not even the greatest sin! His perfect shed blood has over come everything bad that exist, and what is yet to come! Saying other wise would mean that Jesus Christ blood wouldn't be good enough for that 1 horrible sin. That in itself would be denying God of being God. It's like saying the Sun can melt ice, but can't evaporate water. Once excepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you are now "SEALED" in the Lambs Book Of Life Forever!

 

John 10:28

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

 

Ephesians 1:13

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

 

What's Next?

 

Now that you've accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, the road doesn't end here. The next step is to get baptized, this is just a public acknowledgement that you've accepted Christ, and you're not ashamed of it. This encourages others to get saved and baptized as well. The next step is to read your Bible, preferably a King James Bible. Get to know God and allow Him to change your life. If you stay close to God, you can, and will overcome anything. The Christians goal is to get close to God, learn His ways, and share the gospel to others so they might come to Christ as well. God has given the Christian the roll of sharing the gospel, and bringing more Christians into His kingdom. I pray that God will place a hedge of protection over you, and use you in a mighty way. I pray that He will give you the peace and grace that you need to get through all of the trials and tribulations that await you. Stay strong my friend!
